The finished project has signs that it was compromised or tampered with, but I don’t recall any major news stories about the production being troubled.   When I went to see “Opus” a few days ago, the Alamo Drafthouse pre-show played the trailer for “Making Mr. Right”, as well as the music video for The Turtles song “Happy Together” which featured clips from that film.   It was just nominated for an Oscar this morning, and was readily available to watch on Vimeo, so gave it a whirl. The animation is rotoscoped, but it has an MTV's Liquid Television sort of look and vibe, which is appropriate seeing as how this takes place in 1991.
