  Overall very good film.
  Toby Maguire does not look big enough to be a marine funnily enough, and it seemed like they should've reversed his and Gyllenhaal's roles. Due to Gyllenhaal's larger build and wider frame, and the fact that Maguire looked like a crackhead because he was so skinny and had a skin fade. But Maguire's acting was outstanding in this film, he truly encapsulated what it's like for someone to have PTSD. He made it feel real and…

  Movie was laughably bad which made it good. The lick through the phone was such an elite scene. It's a must watch for everyone. And the last scene when the mom gets pulled through the door like a blow up doll is amazing.

  Absolute masterclass from Scorsese. Scorsese is truly a creative genius. This movie messed with my head so much. I got so many chills throughout my body during different scenes throughout this film. The ending was insane, it was completely unexpected to me. The story had so many different things going on and it was perfectly tied up in the end.
