Considering Napoleon Dynamite is one of my all-time favorite comedies, I’m surprised it took me this long to finally watch this. It’s nowhere near the masterpiece Napoleon is, and a lot of it just feels a bit too parallel, but it still gave me a handful of very hard laughs. Worth watching if you’re a Jared Hess fan.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2023
Peaches peaches peeeaches peaches peeeaches. Gorgeous animation, super vibrant and colorful, worked in tons of elements from the games and a great voice cast! It was also genuinely funny. I thought it was a blast! Honestly enjoyed it a lot more than I was expecting to. I get it’s a bit light on story but it’s a movie for kids, so…? I feel like they nailed it, this is easily one of the best video game adaptations ever made. 🤌🏼🍄🐢🦧👑🏰🌠

No. Just no. Telling long-winded stories about your personal life is a horrible approach to comedy. Maybe come up with a few premises and punchlines. Repeating the (questionably) funny things your children once said to an audience is scraping the bottom of the barrel. Also, the shirtless thing is such a desperate gimmick. This man is abysmally unfunny. I don’t know why I continue to give him the benefit of the doubt and check out his specials.
