  The sets on this film are insane, eggers has almost perfected creating THAT atmosphere in his films from his sets and cinematography, i love the places in time he takes us to, film overall was okay, great performances, little long, nothing groundbreaking

  This film was melancholic beauty, encapsulated by the visuals to convey ideas about these themes. i have so many words and feelings about this film but can’t yet describe them, i’m too young to understand anything like this, but regardless the long end call hit emotionally for me, a film about connecting, the need for love, i’d like to think it can be looked as the hedgehog theory, the unforgiving pain in which a meaningful love will undoubtedly bring
