The Brutalist 2024
could write an entire essay but very well executed movie with beautiful shots and complex characters. an extremely moving story that is captured by the realness and illness hidden behind it. the score perfectly translates the various different tensions and moods represented in individual scenes. as an architecture student, the movie’s particular focus on architecture made me tear up, it reminded me of its delicate nature, the beauty of its symbolism and all in all just made me recall how much i appreciate what i’m studying.
