  Non è un brutto film, però non mi ha convinto su alcuni aspetti: principalmente credo che il problema sia Borroughs, non Guadagnino.
  Nel senso che il comparto tecnico del film è sublime, ma la storia e i personaggi sono deboli.
  Alla fine del film mi sono chiesto "si, ma chi sono queste persone che ho davanti?" E non ho saputo rispondermi.
  Detto ciò, il film andrebbe visto anche solo per le interpretazioni, la fotografia, ma soprattutto la splendid colonna sonora di Reznor e Ross, che fanno delle scelte pazzesce (come as you are, Prince, I verbena, I New Order)

  Such a deep and sad movie. It dares you to shed a tear in the final moments. Kore'eda is able to encapsule in every sequence all the emotion and the ideology behind this movie: family, necessity vs justice, love, regret for the past, anger from something we can't control, the failure of justice system, and many other themes.
  The performances are so good and the camera work in subtle, gentle, and precise. We feel like we are "with" them, since…
