  Best movie of 2025 so far.

  This film was written and directed excellently. The camera lingers on props that hold significance in the story (glass, football, bag, etc), and on second watch you understand why the camera intentionally lingers on certain things. The framing is also intentional when it comes to delivering a certain idea or emotion. For example, the way Kathryn and George are framed when he suspects that she’s onto something.   I don’t know how exactly to describe it but this feels like an old movie from the Golden Age of Hollywood. I’d love to see this film in black and white.

  Cate Blanchett will you marry me?!

  This film is excellent on so many levels. Sharp dialogue. Nice visuals. Great actors doing their thing. 90 minutes to get it all done. Cate Blanchett!

  Eisenberg and Culkin share fantastic on-screen chemistry. What stood out to me most about this film was the genuine complexity of their characters. Despite being complete opposites, they felt incredibly relatable, either reflecting aspects of myself or reminding me of people I know. Reminds me a lot of my older brother and I. 

  The real pain, however, was watching Eisenberg’s character refuse to unbutton the top button of every dress shirt he wore.
