Why on earth my dad showed me this film at like 9 years old I have no clue. Regardless it’s stuck with me and for good reason it’s a depressing masterpiece. Can’t wait to read the book which I’ve heard is even more so.

Forrest Gump 1994
Iconic for a reason.
I’ve always disliked the people who hate on this film just for being popular with no real reasoning.
The acting is superb from several actors, the visuals are stunning at several points, the soundtrack is one of the best ever and you get an informative look at American history through the eyes of a simple, yet loving and caring man who provides some of the best emotional scenes ever put to film.

Great film, finally got round to watching it after the recommendation from my dad.
This seriously should be considered up there with Happy Gilmore as one of the best sports based comedies ever. Maybe because they came out the same year people chose one or the other but it seems so underrated. Proper feel good too you have to love a good underdog story.

Perfect end to the best trilogy in the MCU. With all the shit that Marvel has come out with post endgame, this and no way home stand way clear and it’s not debatable. Glad James Gunn got to go out on the high note he deserves with Marvel.
