edit: After hearing that my initial review was inadequate, I’ve decided to add more. This movie is completely inaccurate to the experience of what it’s like to study jazz at one of the top conservatories in the world. Almost everything about the movie is wrong. The charts suck, and any teacher who would speak to students like in the movie would be ousted from the faculty before you could even say “not quite my tempo.”
