Would love to write a review about this (very good) movie’s interest in privilege, self hatred, and the wide-laned, dead-end street that is deluding oneself, but I will not.
Instead I will tell you that mid-screening the three young men who sat in front of me looked up the word “sodomy” on a very bright phone, passed it back and forth, and then spent a couple of minutes giggling and punching one another in the arm.
