The Needle 1988
My personal favorite movie. Love Viktor Tsoi in both his performance and of course KINO’s music in the movie (little ironic to have a band named cinema have music in a movie but the band did get it’s start playing soundtracks).
Movie is set in an interesting and underrepresented time and topic, the Soviet Opioid crisis in Kazakhstan sometime in the 80s.
Great music, funny and charming cinematography and acting given the incredibly low budget, and overall a surprisingly compelling…
