  watched this in theaters because my sister was sold on the marketing campaign and she didn't want to go alone, so. bad! nothing in this movie was scary, cathartic or at least entertaining, it uses some heavy handed metaphor for trauma and i don't know if they actually tried to make a commentary of how mental illness is treated by people, but it fell so flat. the only actually kinda interesting scene was between FL and her mother, but it felt so undeserving and undeveloped and in the end it didn't really matter. this movie has nothing to say and isn't worth the time.
