  I didn't know I truly loved documentaries as an artform until I watched Werner's work. Documentaires were one of my favourite genres, but his work expanded my mind to what was possible to convey through a documentary. His long shots and uncomfortable extended takes atop his beautiful way of narrating gives a depth I've never found anywhere else

  A brilliant movie of a brilliant man. Beautiful music and we'll adapted from a marvelous book. My only criticism is that too much was focused on his personal life rather than on his actual discoveries and thoughts. Also, he's portrayed as far more asocial as the same book describes him in his youth, he was actually quite regular according to descriptions.

  Still a great movie overall
