  This was where we were just one hundred and forty-seven years ago. In the grand scheme of life on this planet, that’s the blink of an eye. In an eye’s blink we went from Passage to Venus to me being able to look it up on YouTube and watch it on my phone, where I’m now logging it and talking about it here. What are we going to be capable of 147 years from today?

  Lost Highway 1997

  In addition to camp and B movies I also really like ~real films~, including/especially David Lynch’s work. Especially Lost Highway. 

  I’ve watched the party scene so many times because it’s one of my all time favorite cinematic moments. The actors are just so on and the visuals and audio just make the scene so terrifying and surreal and Lynchian. 

  I love the weird and the surreal in life and in art and I love it best when it’s executed well. This movie just does it for me, hahaha.
