Dave Patel gets lost in the woods and experiences character growth. The movie has some odd pacing that ultimately works in service of it's off kilter and unsettling delivery. The use of lighting/color grading and camera work is a lot of fun and also aids the themes.

The Wild Robot 2024
Went into the film knowing I was going to cry at some point, but didn't expect to cry about a third of the way in and then continue to do so for the remainder of the movie.
An absolutely stunning film about motherhood, found family, and finding your place. The movie is gorgeous and narratively rich. Comedy is relatively sparse but fairly solid when it occurs without overstaying it's welcome.
