Born on the Fourth of July 1989
Tom Cruise portrayal of, Ron Kovic is basically his best performance hands down, and Cruise deserved his Oscar nomination. This is also Oliver Stone’s best picture to date.
This is a must watch if you haven’t seen.

Adaptation. 2002
Florida film #11 You are what you love, not what loves you.
A sort of sequel to, Spike Jonze’s 1999 Being John Malkovich in a way that you would never think. This entire film is a big risk and wins! One of my all time favorites. An incredible piece of filmmaking, a celebration of life. It’s weird, strange, dramatic, funny, sad, but most importantly, it’s beautiful. To quote a sentence from, Roger Ebert’s review of the film “What a bewilderingly brilliant and entertaining movie this is”This a MUST SEE if you haven’t.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street 2007
This has some of the most complicated musical songs ever written; seriously when do you even have time to breathe while you sing? Big props for post production on that.
If you’re not a fan of, Tim Burton then you’ll like this and if you are a fan of, Tim Burton then you’ll love the live recording of the broadway performance featuring, Angela Lansbury as Ms Lovett and George Hearn as Sweeney Todd, which was released in 1982.
