  As I watched the credits rolling, I figured... is it really OK that there were such incredible casting and budget dedicated to telling a queer story and this is what we get?
  Besides all the clichés and disappointing narratives, the writing feels like the extended version of a student short from the 2010s - albeit with less character depth?

  I'm afraid Teenage-Me was not confident enough to fully appreciate this movie back in 2009. I had kept vaguely unpleasant memories of fauxmosexuality targetting a male audience - probably the media backlash didn't help at the time.
  BUT I just happened to rewatch it randomly on Halloween night... and only now do I realize that this is so genuinely and remarkably queer?
  Also, hilarious and quite brilliant. Better late than never I guess?
