"Superman Returns" was the first Superman film I watched, having a lot of memories of seeing it as a kid. That being said--especially in hindsight--it probably helped in making me think that Superman was a boring character. In essence, what I'm saying is that my nostalgia doesn't override the fact that "Superman Returns" is a bland affair with some moments of greatness.
