A suburbian-chaotic-scifi that hides deeps aspects for most of the spectators. Despite the funny dialogues and the pop culture references - that probably I'm not 100% aware since my non-american background - the theme approached works as a psyop, communicating us in a comic way the "cloning" agenda that is actually hatched by the deepstate, nevertheless the film itself is all about a psyop.

Ari Aster masterfully uses symbolism, in order to keep the spectator curious with human interactions and expressions that may seem subtle, but that deep down cause discomfort, because although we have evolved in societies marked by rituals and hereditary social traditions, modernism - marked by an appearance of materialism and superficial interactions - erased this characteristic, but striking way of human cultural expression.

Brian de Palma brought us a charmous pelicule, most of the time I was impressed about the bold transitions of cameras working on the alternation and zooming out some entities on the background of screen. An authoral plot with minuncious details for good observer, intriguing soundtrack contrasting really well with the awesome John Travolta's performance in the hopelessness moments.
