For a film that relentlessly talks about intelligence; the smartest character in the film is a fucking dinosaur.

Yeah, it’s pretty stinky. And while yes, I absolutely adore the concept of that ending, its execution is just so soulless. Some really great scenes sprinkled within help me stay engaged, but ultimately, it doesn’t work nearly as well as its predecessor(s).
It’s a big shame, with a lot of potential it fumbles hard and ends up becoming a poorly written, genuinely…

Ironically, I have become a little obsessed with this film.
Never have I been so upset, uncomfortable, and confused; yet so incredibly mesmerised by a film like I have with Satoshi Kon’s Perfect Blue.

Even after three rewatches, I am still so puzzled by it. I am obsessed by the story, the animation, (especially) the editing. Everything here is perfect. And fuck does it make me feel so so icky.

    So I mean this wholeheartedly…
    Nothing compares to this.

As a big tardigrade fan this movie is fucking awesome!

Otherwise, love Pattinson, love Ruffalo, love pretty much every other performance. Really it’s just the pacing that’s a bit meh 🤷

Otherwise, not my favourite Bong Joon Ho film; but honestly it would probably be impossible to outshine Parasite. Very very good 👍

Notes: i love you Steven Yeun 🥰

Final Notes: again, tardigrades are sick; this movie rocks

This movie walked so so many others could just trail slowly behind. Absolutely magnificent in creativity, direction, performances, script, and genuine heart.

I love 2D animation SO MUCH! And the way this blended live-action was just phenomenal, I am absolutely stunned with his brilliant it was. No one could do it Robert Zemeckis could in the 80’s. What a treat!

Notes: i adore jessica rabbit, as soon as she gets to breathe (as a character) i fell in love

Finally Notes: excited to finally watch lots more classic disney animated films in the near future!
