This is a nothing movie from my favorite director of all time. He has a few of these (see my review for Chinese Roulette). I refuse to sit here and allow some film nerd to overanalyze this. It's an anarchist movie (as it claims itself) but doesn't present a discernible philosophy. It was not my cup of tea!

Forrest Gump 1994
It does feel like there's a heavy dose of pro-America propaganda present (American Dream, anyone can fall into success, individualism) but if I can turn that side of my brain off it's a fun movie with incredible performances. It does also overstay its welcome and could've probably been an hour shorter. I am slightly inflating my rating because I watched on the plane and I'm sure the movie looks great in a theater.

The Plumber 1979
A simply horrid film front to back. The allegories of class are seen coming from a mile away. The writing is poor, which makes the decent acting seem abysmal. Aesthetically it does absolutely nothing interesting. It gets a 1.5 only because it kept my attention - I definitely wanted to turn it off at times but it wasn't boring.
