  What a missed opportunity… It's hard for me to be objective about this film. There have been a few movies that I read the book before watching the movie. Most of them have some significant deviations, that are totally understandable because of the difference in medium.   Don't go in with any expectations and keep an open mind. You'll be surprised at how enjoyable it can be… I watched it on Christmas Eve with my in-laws after we couldn't decide on which movie to watch. They all had seen it except me and had it recorded on DVR. Someone started it so we would be watching it while we decided on the movie to watch… We ended up watching the entire thing and laughing quite a bit!…

  If nothing else, Michael Cera and Ellen Page are now my favorite onscreen couple… Watch it for them, then let yourself get caught in the story. :)
