Thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Well made for sure, and Zack Snyder does a good job at tackling an adaptation of the comic. That being said, this doesn’t even come close to the source material.

This movie was a lot better than I expected. Obviously pretty cliched premise, but it knows how to make it interesting enough. It did a pretty good job with the futuristic technology based society idea, and it actually felt reminiscent of Minority Report which is slightly better.

I can confidently say this is a perfect sequel. Everything good about Dune: Part One is amped up and elevated in Part Two. Beautiful visuals and directing that impressively tops the first movie, and I really think this is Hans Zimmer’s best work on a score. What an incredible series. They really didn’t play down the Oz that we get a glimpse at in The Batman. They fully leaned into his selfish and villainous side. The writing in this show is absolutely amazing, and this is one of the best pieces of comic book media out there. This completely expands your understanding of Matt Reeves’ Gotham.
