Holds some of the charm that made the iconic film so memorable, while presenting the nature of Ghost in the Shell's themes in a more watered down approach. It's by no means bad at all, I actually rather enjoyed it. Fun action and great atmosphere! Ghost in the Shell always did have the most captivating music.
This is the first of four one hour movies (Or just limited series to make it sound easier) and is essentially a re-imagining of Masamune Shirow's source material. It doesn't blow you away, but it serves its purpose. Intrigued to watch the next three ๐
It was actually fine! Nothing spectacular, nothing terrible, just serviceable MCU fun with a more grounded, political spin. Despite those criticising Harrison Ford calling it in for some dollar, I thought his performance was great. Wanted just A TAD more Red Hulk though. I liked the callbacks to other movies almost forgotten, and the action is nicely paced throughout. Sometimes things were a bit messy, but overall a comfortable viewing in my opinion. Quite pleased as I was expecting worse.
