Palmer 2021
A surprisingly heartwarming film with great performances and really nice themes of fatherhood and second chances. I genuinely had little expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Think this just solidifies that one of my favourite sub genres being stoic, tough guy reluctantly adopts a kid and it softens him up. Timberlake gives one of his best performances and plays totally against type as said stoic, tough guy. His relationship with Sam was really cute and like JT, I would fuck up anyone…
