The Week Of 2018
Pretty mid to be honest, not bad by any means but definitely not one of sandlers best. 2 stars seems too harsh but 2.5 could seem a bit generous so a mid point between the two is what I thought. Worth sticking on in the background for a few stupid laughs but not something I’d watch again. Definitely a lot funnier and better written comedies out there as a lot of it felt quite forced. Netflix patter.

Really really enjoyed this movie, definitely need to watch again. One of the few comedies I’ve seen with actual character growth rather than just a run of the mill happy ending, instead they took the time to show the process of this fully rather than use one scene to skip over it like the majority of 2000/2010s rom-com. Just Another Saturday 1975

Solid film with really good cinematography as in a way it makes you feel nostalgic even though you weren't alive at the time due to the fact that in actuality Scotland hasn't changed in the last 45 years, theres still the same patter, the same traditions, the same architecture and buildings but most important to the film there's still a religious divide in the country which almost seperates it in half and the ending of the film asks the question if its worth taking a side at all. Good Scottish film and a good appearance by Billy Connor and Eric fae still game.

Trainspotting 1996
can't say how many times I've watched this, genuinly still to this day in my opinion the best film of all time. the dialogue is amazing, the characters are all equally interesting and the whole film is constantly entertaining. the tone changes a lot throughout from horrifying to hilarious without interrupting the pacing or feeling interuptive and the rawness of the movie as a whole is unmatched. every camera shot in this could be stilled and framed and that's how I think the cinematography should feel in all films. top class couldn't recommend more, even because of the soundtrack alone.
