Much like Okja, Mickey 17 didn't really do that much for me compared to most of Bong Joon-Ho's other works. That's not to say that it's a bad film, it's actually incredibly solid...but this man had to make a follow-up to Parasite so...you know.

Mickey 17 has so much more to say than it's book counterpart, and I feel the small changes it made are exactly what an adaptation of this source material needed. The cloning process now feels like…

A really inconsistent performance from Pamela Anderson, Dave Bautista giving us almost nothing and 0 character development across the board leads to a film that feels quite inconsequential with drama that doesn't hit the mark.

The cinematography looks really great at points, until it doesn't, and then it looks like an out of focus mess. Maybe that wasn't helped by the fact I saw it on a huge screen, who knows.

Jamie Lee Curtis, as always, is great and I really enjoyed the dialogue between characters, but I really wanted more from this film.

Truly an extraordinary film, I cannot exaggerate the sheer amount of emotions I felt while watching it. It is by far the most unique and imaginative film I've ever seen and is without a doubt the best film I've seen since 2017 (when I first saw one of my favourite films of all time)

Everything, Everywhere has found itself amongst my favourite films of all times and I am already desperately trying to find more showings near me because I need to see this absolute masterpiece more than once!

Although it's a slow burn, even in Longlegs' downtime, the cinematography, acting, production design and sound design all worked together beautifully to make a pit in my stomach and keep it there throughout. I don't think I can remember watching a film in my adult life that made me HALF as uncomfortable as Longlegs did, apart from maybe the like of Hereditary or Martyrs or something.

I see a lot of people praising Nicolas Cage for his performance, and yeah…
