The Great Beauty 2013
This is an Italian movie that came on my radar when Anthony Bourdain referenced it on ‘Parts Unknown’
I first watched this movie under the influence of Psilocybin mushrooms during the strange time that was the pandemic. If you’re dealing with any existential dread/anxiety I think watching ‘The Great Beauty’ could mellow you out nicely.
There’s no way to recommend this movie to my friends without sounding like a pretentious asshole but it’s a nice vibe! Philosophical, thought provoking, funny, and you may even pick up a few Italian words.
