Didn't feel mad about a film ever since Gaspar Noe's monstrosity "Irreversible". "Barbarian" started on a good note: good perfomances, chilling suspense and music, and a political/historical subplot on Detroit's economic crisis and downfall. But as soon as we were introduced to the character of AJ (a man being accused of sexual assault that we're supposed to root for, even though he's not likeble at all), everything is ruined.
