  Lacy asking Janet for a piece of her to sleep with was my favorite scene in the movie. 11 yr old me really struggled with the loss of the connection I had with my mother as a younger child. She became increasingly more mentally ill during this time period of my life and would slowly withdraw more and more. Although different scenarios I felt very connected to Lacy as she longed for her mothers affection and attention while watching her give it away to someone else.
