Absolute favourite and in my eyes a masterpiece. The story captures the vibe and feeling of what I assume everyone feels when they leave school/college - “so what now and why the hell does it even matter”. We’re told from a young age the path we should follow to be successful in life (school, university, job, family, retirement) and society views deviation from this as something almost scandalous. This movie makes you question the taken for granted, and think about your own choices and whether you even wanted them in the first place.

Made me laugh, great acting, interesting concept and made me feel emotional for small alien slug babies.
Pretty dark, unsettling with good acting that made me feel deeply uncomfortable - but it was meant to (psychological thriller vibes). Juliette Lewis nailed her role as Adele, and I don’t even like Brad Pitt but he made a convincing serial killer. Weirdly the movie is very underrated and I’ve never heard of it before despite having watched so many thrillers from the early 90’s.
