In another universe, Brendan Fraser and Harrison Ford combined forces to create the ultimate action-adventure film, maybe even an "Indiana Jones/Mummy" crossover. But, they both give 110% for this very emotional medical drama. Ford is the old, snarky grump with a hidden heart of gold (which he always excels at) and Fraser gives probably his most emotionally charged and heartbreaking role until "The Whale".

It was a surprise to see Brendan Fraser in an antagonistic role as Alden Pyle, both as Sir Michael Caine's love rival and as an undercover CIA operative ordered to manipulate the first Indochina War for America's benefit. But Fraser really sold it and proved his worthiness to act alongside the legendary Caine, who was rightfully earned his sixth Oscar nomination.

Ok, the movie really needs more love. I really love the "comic-book" style Ang Lee gave this movie. With the cleverly edited scene transitions, splits and wipes, it's almost like watching a film and reading a comic book simultaneously.
I also appreciate that this film takes some time to explain how Bruce's exposure to gamma radiation turned him into the Hulk, instead of... well, you know, killing him. Thanks to being born with mutated DNA, due to his father experimenting…

Happy birthday, Eric Bana. Wow, he was phenomenal. He gave a very charismatic, yet simultaneously twisted and terrifying performance as Chopper.
Fun fact: During production, there was a month-long break. And in that break, Bana spent it eating junk food, gaining 30 pounds, all for the scenes set after Pentridge when Chopper is older. That’s dedication.
