  Stelligheid is het grootste gevaar voor tolerantie. Stelligheid leidt tot oorlog. Absoluut denken verschrompelt het hart, dus laat twijfel toe.

  I was supposed to see a Wong Kar-Wai film tonight but ended up here. Although the overall performances were good and the love for the craft of acting is manifested in an obvious, ironic and sometimes really funny and well written/played way, I still trapped myself still longing for Kar Wai’s eye. But didn’t bother to see this film at all: a light touch to my Wednesday evening (and a close-up of Penelope Cruz looking deeply in the camera for about a minute in the end always works).
