Surprisingly enjoyable.
Bautista is such an incredible actor, let’s be honest. The fact that a man that size can convince you he’s actually a gentle person who means no harm is impressive - he was the highlight of the film.
Love that (spoiler alert) the twist was that there wasn’t actually a twist, and really fantastic cinematography.
Some of the visual effects could have done with a bit more love though.
I can’t remember when I watched it but I enjoyed it. It lived up to the kind of odd, insane hype it has around it.
Loved seeing behind the scenes of some of his biggest hits, and it was nice to see his younger years - very well put together documentary that way, however it did feel rushed towards the end.
I feel like it could have easily been pushed to two hours and a bit more time focused on what he was doing to try to help himself rather than just saying “he went to therapy”.
