  Great script and plot with real intelligent humor. Henry Mancini always provides an outstanding score, but it would have transcended if accompanied by better cinematography for more than the last 15 minutes.

  Anna Scott was the problem and made Hugh Grant’s character believe that he did something wrong. He didn’t do anything but love her, she never apologized for repeatedly shoving him off in front of her friends/fellow actors/the press and expected him to just forgive her AND HE DID. Doesn’t even deserve half a star.
