If I was Vanya, I would’ve grabbed the strap, especially for Mikey Madison.
Generally liked the movie. But at often times it felt, stagnant. I understand the concept behind this movie, especially the last 10 minutes. The movie’s ending, with that scene in the car with Igor, brings the entire narrative full circle, providing a comprehensive explanation of Ani’s character development scene by scene.
But, there is a disconnect somewhere. It felt, hollow.

Demi Moore with the performance of her career, wow.
Such a campy movie, in a self aware way. Cronenberg vibes were there.
The extreme close up shots were suffocating, absolutely loved that.

Late Night with the Devil 2023
This expanded on a whole side of horror that I felt was gonna be super interesting, but only dipped a pinky toe in. I truly feel that this movie was not at all fleshed out enough. Just rushed, in an overwhelming way. Felt super unsatisfied.
There were good scenes towards the end & some of the gore was hardcore, overall, the movie was kinda mid.
Plus fuck the A.I transitions, that was lame.
