So What do you watch on New Years Day, probably something traditional like 'Home Alone' or 'Elf'... but if you wanted to break away from something more traditional, and still get a good feeling from a more unorthodox christmas film, well do I have the film for you.

This film is about a young man who goes to boarding school but can't go home for christmas so he has to stay with his uptight teacher and the school cook. Actually…

Being a big fan of Baz Luhrmann, and also loving elvis for as long as i can remember (funny enough, actually longer then i remember, my dad just told me i was fascinated by Elvis as a baby too) I had extremely high expectations going into this film, and now that I've seen it, my expectations where not just reached, but shattered.

I wasn't expecting this to be as good as it was, there is some strong acting from all the cast, they all play their real life counter-parts really well. this film is also paced really well and the constant pressure really helps to make this film memorable. My dad keeps asking me if the score for this film being nominated for anything, but it hasn't even though it was great.

This film has a very 'cold' feeling about it. The cinematography is perfect at making…

I only put this on to do a project on Jim Sheridan and had it in a tiny window in the corner of my computer...and it still blew me away.

It's really funny...NOT THE FILM, I mean what happened to me during it, I called my dad to ask him when the film takes place, and we ended up talking for an hour about how the farm effected our lives.

This film made me realize something I've been burying deep…
