Humanist Vampire Seeking Consenting Suicidal Person 2023
This movie has me committed to wearing all black for the remainder of October. The scene where Sasha sings along silently to Brenda Lee’s Emotions is probably the cutest movie scene involving a vampire ever. I liked that the most goth vampire was also the most ethical as that has been my experience as well.

Okay I’m pleased, bordering on smug, that Casablanca ended up being my first movie watched after making a Letterboxd. This movie is so goddamn watchable I just eat it up every time. At its core, I think this movie is about how being hot and smooth are the ultimate weapons against fascism. “Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine”
