Extremely disappointed. Heavily relied upon the 80’s aesthetic/cut scenes without having any real story. The ending comes around very randomly, with so many unnecessary sub plots. All of the victims die in exactly the same circumstances before the final act, and at this point Maxine eventually chooses to initiate a showdown with someone at an address she knew about very early on in the film… it was anti-climactic. The twist wasn’t even good, it was just lazy writing to add in a never before alluded to character to wow the audience with.

Not a terrible film but definitely became a dead horse at one point that just refused to end. Could’ve been made better with a really boppy soundtrack throughout. Of course, Jessica Chastain was once again the highlight of this entire production.
