The first half of this movie was really good, like 4 star good. Deniro was incredible, I kinda forgot he was acting a lot of the time and not actually just the character which I can’t recall the last movie I saw that made me think that. However I don’t know the last time I saw a movie fail to land the ending this bad before. Travis as a character should not have been redeemed in the end. The Dark Side of the Rainbow 2000
A little disappointing honestly. there are a few parts that line up insanely well (great gig in the sky and the tornado, money and color starting, the heartbeat at the end and the tin man) but the vast majority of the movie does not line up with the album. The song echoes with the last 20 minutes of 2001 a space odyssey pairs a lot better.

One of the most unique and best concert films out there, with no audience whatsoever apart from the band and the Roadies, this concert film is extremely unique. Even after having seen this film many times I still enjoy every time I watch it. Pink Floyds early psychedelic music is a perfect match for the abandoned amphitheater they play in.
