Les Mis is so weird. I do like it. But like. Huge Jacked Man unconvincingly aged up or down. Russell Crowe as tonedeaf but gay Javert. Teenage romantic drama against the backdrop of failing revolution. A musical with horrifyingly bad audio quality. And the best acting performance of Anne Hathaway’s career in the middle of it all?
Why? How? I mean obviously I know how, I’ve watched the making-of stuff for this, but every time I’m just baffled by the choices made.
Costumes are perfect, 100/10
