In the Lost Lands 2025
Not good! Some decent Bautista action scenes early on but that’s about it. Why does the whole movie look like I have astigmatism? Truly the most bizarre and puzzling choice I’ve ever seen a cinematographer choose. GRRM innocent even though I haven’t read the short story.

Really really wish I liked this one more. Starting with the goods: Robert Pattinson, Mark Ruffalo, Toni Collette, the girl who plays the scientist and Robert Pattinson all gave stellar performances. 17 exudes a doofy, undeniable charm. Blood Simple 1984
I’m sure glad the Coen Brothers went on to make more films! I absolutely love a lot of the Coen bros work, but this film oozes debut feature. Blood Simple has beautiful shots, dry-approaching-black humor and some framing choices that give you a peak into what is to come from the duo.
