Where the Crawdads Sing 2022
Never read the book but will now do so after watching the on screen interpretation. Very well written, to the point it captures the attention of the audience from the first scene. I won’t lie the ending left me a bit confused and fell a little lackluster for me, but that could change after reading the book. I hope to revisit this soon! I do recommend checking this one out with your significant other if you get the chance 💗

I don’t really want to spend too much time on this review. I wasn’t very entertained by anything in this film. The performances lacked, plot lacked, actual slasher scenes lacked, overall just a below average “slasher” film. Not even fun for the summer.

Nope 2022
I am a huge fan of Jordan Peele and all his creativity. However, this film just seemed very “ok” to me. This film is carried by the performances of the cast. I didn’t find the plot too intriguing and the “alien” (what I’m referring to the creature of the film) wasn’t very scary. If I had one wish for the film, is that the humor needed dialed down and the horror/suspense dialed up.
