the plot, execution, and acting were exceptional. it touched on a lot of themes, and although the first few episodes were slow and anticlimactic, each episode fills you more and more with curiosity. everything connects in the end, leaving you fulfilled yet heartbroken after watching. this was really good - nothing more and nothing less. i loved every episode up until the end.

dani and jamie's love was beautiful :)

i watched because it's one of my girlfriend's favorite series, and i wasn't expecting to love it this much after i finished it! why did they have to hurt us like that :'(

i liked it. it may be a little quiet, boring, and anticlimactic in some scenes, but the plot satisfyingly made sense, the pacing was just right, and the cinematography was fairly good. and it's hunter and wlw - hehehe!

you can’t get rid of the babadook; the more you deny, the stronger i get

we all have our very own babadook’s in us. we can never escape or get rid of grief, ourselves, and our thoughts, but we learn how to live with them until each day becomes lighter. until they stop ruling over our lives. we’re all capable of living well despite it all.

+ the son was annoying but the mother was also just NOT it
