I hate knowing that this is the goofy clown version of a musical epic, and it's a crime that Eartha Kitt's Snuff Out the Light was canned. I feel so much disappointment on behalf of the artists...

This one's always a hard watch — but for myself, now especially. Life can be so cruel, it's so easy to hold your breath in fear of saying the wrong thing, disrupting the status quo, or embarking into the unknown. But if that's all you ever do, then you only end up living a life of regret. I'm glad Ennis agreed to go to the wedding; Jack probably would've killed him if he hadn't.
Because that's how it is now. Another cruelty of life: it somehow feels easier to do things for someone in memory, than it ever was when they were here.
