The premise of this film felt super predatory, with a bunch of 30-somethings trying to get close to a 19y/o who was very sheltered and impressionable. If it was intended as a satirical take on the toxic gay male community, I get it, but at the same time, still gross.
Sure, comedy ensues with most of the characters being terrible people, but at some points it was just too much.

I watch emotional movies when my gf isn't home because they can be too much for her. But I wasn't finished with this one when she got home and so she walked in on me sobbing , unable to see through my tears. The last time a movie made me cry this much was in 2018. This portrait of loss and love will have you pre-grieving your SO even if they are right beside you. Fuck, love and life and connection are so beautiful. I didn't think I was capable of crying this much due to Prozac.
