  idgaf if it’s supposed to be satire or a critique of pathetic middle-aged men. It’s a bad movie. No I don’t think watching a young ambitious girl be hated by random loser men & then groomed (and subsequently raped) makes for good comedy. Satire is meant to be an exaggeration but the way people treat Reese Witherspoon’s character is identical to how loser men have been conditioned to hate successful women (and see women as porn categories/conquests). I’m sick of people justifying misogynistic, pedophilic slop (Lanthamos’ Poor Things!!!) as real art because it’s “satire.”
