  Begins with a somewhat delightful air because of Giulietta but frankly this film hits, unexpectedly at first and then all at once. I thought it was a weird first Fellini film to watch but by the end I was like, I get it.

  Okay. I’ve watched this twice now, and I think I get it. It is sort of the man’s best fantasy, with the endless cocktails, sexy knocked-out dreams, a woman who expects nothing, and a winding adventure along side your best buddy. Dude is the ultimate level of what I want to exist as, though maybe with a little Donny sprinkled in (because Steve Buscemi am I right?) The lines are the clever and quotable, the shots are beautiful, and the weaving and confusing plot lines are really well done.
