I feel like 7 year old me would have lost her absolute mind over this.
While it doesn’t hit as hard now I can’t ignore the magnificent production value. The costuming and set design were my favorite and I feel like I could watch it 10 more times and see something else wonderful in the background.
10 stars for all the green merch as well.
This is one of those movies that I know I’m wrong for disliking. Well made and shot - I can really appreciate Eggers work in creating a period accurate piece but I just wanted it to be over so I could go do something else.
