finally had the courage to rewatch the movie i proclaimed to be my favorite at age 16. and again i loved everything about it: the amazing score, the bizarre sci-fi-ness of it all, the writing showing us what it means to feel, to love, to grief. how unbearable it can be to remember. excited for my next rewatch, hopefully with a changed perspective once again.
